Syntax

BACKUP CLEANUP

• Subcommand of BACKUP

Removes the files of a sealed or failed backup.

Known issue

After a restart the server no longer knows a sealed backup: this command replies ERR there is no backup to clean up, the files stay, and BACKUP START refuses the directory until they are deleted by hand. Filed as kividb#150, fixed in 1.2.

Reply

• OK.
• ERR a backup is in progress; seal or abort it first.
• ERR there is no backup to clean up.
