Load into KiviDB: migrate from Hazelcast to KiviDB

The copy programs write straight into a running server. Start it with a password, and with an eviction policy if your maps evicted:

Self-hosted KiviDB

The copy programs write straight into a running server. Start it with a password, and with an eviction policy if your maps evicted:

kividb --port 6380 --requirepass "$KIVIDB_PASSWORD" --maxmemory 16gb --maxmemory-policy allkeys-lru

If you use entry listeners, turn on keyspace notifications too:

kividb --port 6380 --requirepass "$KIVIDB_PASSWORD" --notify-keyspace-events Kghxe

Then create the search indexes your predicates need (see Predicates). An index made after the copy indexes the keys already there.

KiviDB Cloud

Create the database (turn Lua on at creation if you will need it), add the address of the machine running the copy to the allow-list, and point the program at the database's endpoint. With TLS, use a rediss:// URL and trust the database's CA certificate from Configuration. For the Java program, put the certificate in a trust store:

keytool -importcert -noprompt -alias kividb -file kividb-ca.pem -keystore kividb.jks -storepass changeit
export KIVIDB_URL=rediss://default:$KIVIDB_PASSWORD@your-name.cloud.kividb.io:6380
java -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=kividb.jks -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=changeit -cp <classpath> Migrate

There is no file to import: Hazelcast has no snapshot format KiviDB reads.
