Dragonfly is a multithreaded in-memory store that speaks the Redis protocol. KiviDB speaks the same protocol and also runs commands on every core, so applications move without code changes. Moving the data is different from Redis in two ways: Dragonfly's own snapshot format (.dfs) is not an RDB file, and Dragonfly doesn't serve Redis-protocol replicas. This guide covers what works instead, into a KiviDB server you run yourself or into KiviDB Cloud.
