Syntax

SHUTDOWN [NOSAVE | SAVE | NOW | FORCE | ABORT]
  • Flags: admin
  • ACL categories: @admin, @dangerous, @server, @slow
  • Arity: -1

Stops the server, by default after saving a snapshot.

OptionEffect
NOSAVEDo not save a snapshot.
SAVESave one.
NOWDo not wait for replicas, or the AOF, to catch up.
FORCEStop even if saving fails.
ABORTCancel a shutdown under way.
